1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using The Motoring Club website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not access our services.

2. Membership Types

2.1 Public Membership

• Annual subscription fee: €25 per year
• Access to Deals of the Week
• Email notifications for news and deals
• Access to subscriber-only content
• Automatically renews annually unless canceled

2.2 Dealer Membership

• Annual subscription fee: €100 per year
• Listing in Verified Dealers directory (subject to approval)
• Receipt of vehicle request inquiries from members
• Manual verification required before public listing
• Automatically renews annually unless canceled

3. Dealer Verification

Dealer memberships require manual verification by The Motoring Club administration team:

• Payment does not guarantee approval
• Verification typically completed within 48 hours
• Dealers will not appear publicly until verified
• The Motoring Club reserves the right to reject any application
• Refunds may be issued at our discretion for rejected applications

4. Payment and Billing

• All payments processed securely through Stripe
• Subscriptions automatically renew annually
• You will be charged the then-current subscription rate
• All fees are in Euros (€) and non-refundable except as required by law
• Failed payments may result in subscription suspension

5. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time:

• Access continues until the end of your current billing period
• No refunds for partial periods
• Dealer listings will be removed upon cancellation
• Cancel through your Stripe customer portal or by contacting us

6. User Responsibilities

As a member, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and current information
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Use the service lawfully and respectfully
• Not impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
• Not use the service for fraudulent purposes

7. Dealer Responsibilities

Dealers additionally agree to:

• Provide accurate business information
• Maintain active business operations
• Respond professionally to member inquiries
• Comply with all applicable automotive regulations in Ireland
• Not engage in misleading or deceptive practices

8. Content and Intellectual Property

• All content on The Motoring Club is our property or licensed to us
• You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without permission
• Subscriber content is for personal use only
• Our name, logo, and branding are protected trademarks

9. Disclaimers

Information Accuracy: While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee the completeness or reliability of any content.

Third-Party Dealings: We are not responsible for transactions between members and dealers. All dealings are at your own risk.

No Warranty: Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Motoring Club shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Damages resulting from third-party dealings
• Service interruptions or technical issues

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your subscription in the past 12 months.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms and Conditions
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• Abuse the service or harass other users
• Fail to pay subscription fees

12. Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to our data practices as described in that policy.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ireland.
